Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all.

It's been a pretty hectic couple of weeks for the team at Gladioli Restaurant. 

We had a full house (plus some) for our 6 course Christmas lunch and it was a lovely day. It's one of my favourite 'dining' days of the year, with everyone relaxed and there to have a good time. We tend to get a lot of repeat guests each year, which is fantastic. 

We then traded as per normal through the new year period with the exception of New Years Day.

We are excited to announce a new 'Head Chef' for Gladioli Restaurant with the return of Tobin Kent.

Tobin previously worked with us when we opened Gladioli for about 14 months. He then spent the past 2.5 years working at the world class 'Brae' in Birregurra. 

We are very excited about Tobin's return and looking forward to starting to see some of his influence on the food.

At Gladioli we are already into planning for 2016 events with the first being a Valentines Day menu. Bookings are available now by contacting the restaurant.

Our 2nd 'longest lunch' is also on sale now via www.melbournefoodandwine.com.au. Music will again be performed by the talented Julie Walter and it will hopefully be another sell out.
